Akhtar Rasool gives 5lakh to president LRCA on behalf of SBP

Lahore : Sports Board Punjab has given a cheque of 5 Lac to Lahore region cricket association’s president Khwaja Nadeem Ahmed.

The ex president hockey federation/ convener of sports board Punjab P&D committee Akhtar Rasool had handed over the said cheque to LCA’s president Khwaja Nadeem Ahmed. Director sports Mohammed Anees Sheikh, POA secretary Idrees Haider Khwaja , SBP cricket chairman Ijaz Butt and Deputy Director Mohammed Hafeez Bhatti were also present on this occasion.

Ex president hockey federation Akhtar Rasool said, “CM Punjab has a keen interest for promotion of sports, the walled city has already been the center of sports activities, and moreover, Iqbal Park has produced legends of many games in the past. A number of 10 new cricket pitches are decided to be made in IPSC”.

The president of LCA, Khwaja Nadeem has thanked CM Punjab and DG sports Punjab Zulfiqar Ghumman and appreciated their efforts of relieving the cricket activities in Lahore as they are frequently used to be the part of the past. We are thankful to the Government of the Punjab for this festivity. SBP cricket chairman Ijaz Butt also appreciated this decision of lying down new cricket pitches in North Zone of Lahore.
