Nadir Baloch will fight with Juma Fundi for super bantamweight title in Quetta

Lahore : Challenger Nadir Baloch, Pakistan Boxing Council national champion, will take on Juma Fundi of Tanzania for Universal Boxing Organisation’s vacant international super bantamweight title on February 25 at Quetta.
PBC President Ifraz Khan and Legal Adviser Sardar Ahmed Haleemi are the promoters for this first ever international pro fight while the latter is making all the arrangements for the event taking place at Ayub Stadium, Quetta.
Ifraz, Secretary Rasheed Baloch and Senior Vice-President Commander (r) Mohammad Ali collaborated with UBO for months to bring the international title bout to Pakistan for the first time in the history of country’s boxing.
Juma has 46 international fights under his belt with 29 wins, 14 losses and three draws. He was also former UBO champion while Nadir will be appearing in international pro boxing for the first time. The PBC team in Quetta has nearly completed all the arrangements for the fight later this month.
Meanwhile, the PBC is also aspiring to hold another UBO international title fight in Lahore in March in which PBC national champion will take on another international boxer and the council’s Lahore team is collaboration with various promoters to ensure a successful event.
