17 police stations to send bodies for postmortem to LGH

Lahore : Punjab Government has attached department of forensic medicine, Post
Graduate Medical Institute, newly constructed at Lahore General Hospital, with 17 police stations of Lahore for conduction of postmortem examination of dead bodies.

These police stations include police station Shadman, Gulberg-1, Gulberg-2, Gulberg-3, Defense-A,Defense-B, Defense-C, police station South Cantt., North Cantt., Ichhra, Mustafaabad, Ghaziabad, Milat Park, Race Course, Sarwar Road,Ghalib Market and police station Guldusht Town.

Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Prof. Ghiyas Un Nabi Tayyab said in this regard that new dead house would reduce the problems of citizens. He directed the staff of dead house to perform their responsibilities with care and dedication
during the process of postmortem.
