IGP dismissed 2 DSPs for issuing bogus driving license

Lahore : Inspector General of Police Punjab Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has issued dismissal orders of two DSPs of Sheikhupura Traffic police for issuing bogus driving license. Punjab police spokesman has said that DSP Khawaja Zahid Abbas and DSP Naeem ul Husnain had issued bogus driving license during their posting at Traffic Police Sheikhupura.

IGP Mushtaq Sukhera had ordered inquiry on receiving complaints about issuance of bogus driving license in Sheikhupura. The DPO Nankana Sahib Sahibzada Bilal Omar declared them guilty in his inquiry and recommended stern action against them.

IGP gave them a chance of personnel hearing but they failed to prove their innocence in this regard.On proving guilty,he ordered of their dismissal saying that there was no space for corrupt and incompetent officers in the police department.
