Al-Jannat Sweets & Bakers Faisalabad heavily fined on presence of mouse in storage area

al-jannat-sweets-bakers-gulberg-roadLahore : Punjab Food Authority is taking action throughout the province for ensuring provision of healthy and quality food to the people.

The teams of Punjab Food Authority imposed fines to five hotels and bakeries and sealed one in Lahore, Faisalabad and Gujranwala and wasted substandard edible oil.

According to details, on the directions of DG Punjab Food Authority, Gulberg Town Team imposed a fine to Ice Food and Restaurant and Bismillah Restaurant Faisal Town on poor physical condition of workers, using blue chemical drams for food storage and poor cleanliness arrangements besides imposed a fine of 7500 rupees to Asli Karachi Paratha Liberty Market on using substandard nutrients and non presence of expiry dates on them.

Food Authority teams are continuously monitoring and checking for ensuring provision of quality food to the devotees on the occasion of annual Urs of Hazrat Data Gunj Bakhsh. The samples of milk sabeels wet up on the occasion have been sent to laboratory for analysis while Mian Bohli Bawarchi near Data Darbar was sealed on poor hygiene condition.

Gujranwala team imposed a fine of Rs. 15000 to Riaz Restaurant Model Town Gujranwala on poor physical condition of workers, using expired edible oil and sealed immediately. Faisalabad team imposed a fine Rs. 45000 to Al-Jannat Sweets & Bakers Gulberg Road on dirty roof sealing, washroom in production area presence of mouse in storage area, poor physical witness of the workers, placing of edible items on ground and issued a warning of sealing this annual for not improvement in future.
