An era of photo journalism ends

Lahore : An era of of photojournalism ended as legend photojournalist Azhar Hussain Jaffri took his last breath. Inna lillahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune. His funeral would be offered today at Journalist Housing Society today after Jumma Prayer.

Meanwhile ; Chairman PCB Shaharyar M. Khan, Chairman Executive Committee  Najam Sethi and Chief Operating Officer Subhan Ahmad have offered their heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Azhar Hussain Jafri, senior photojournalist, also awarded President’s Pride of Performance Award.

In a message, the top tier of the Board lauded the services of Azhar Hussain Jafri in the field of photography. The deceased photojournalist had always been a source of inspiration and supportive to the newcomers in the field of photography.

“The Entire PCB family expresses their sorrow on the passing away of Azhar Hussain Jafri. May the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace and grant the family and the dear ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss”, said the PCB spokesman.‎ ‎
