150th anniversary of Lahore High Court celebrated at Jehlum

Lahore : District and Session Judge Jhelum Marukh Aziz presided over the conference for the celebration of 150^th anniversary of Lahore High Court, here today.

Marukh aziz said that upholding the rule of law in Pakistan is the utmost requirement for a progressive nation. She expressed these views while presiding over the meeting in a local hotel. She said that everyone is equal to law and no one is above the law. Supporting her arguments she informed that today justice is prevailing in all the segments of society.

District and Sessions Judge Islamabad East Sohail Ikram DCO Jhelum Iqbal Hussain Khan, Additional Sessions Judges, Liaqat Ali Ranjha, Arshad Iqbal Khan, Rana Zahid Afzal, Syed Hamid Hussain, Ambreen Qureshi, Mian Abdul Rafeeq, Senior Civil Judge Mohammad Ahmad Hasnain Khan were also present in the conference. Speakers said that Lahore High court has completed 150 years of Justice. Marukh Aziz further said that under the vision of Chief Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah the rule of law is prevailing all over the nation.
