IoBM holds a welcome ceremony for 43 students from rural Sindh

iobm-held-a-welcome-ceremony-for-43-students-from-districts-of-rural-sindhLahore : IoBM held a welcome ceremony for 43 students from districts of rural Sindh such as Badin, Sanghar, Umerkot, Tharparkar and Lasbela who joined the Four-Week Training Program for the IoBM Outreach Program 2016 aimed at inducting them into full-fledged engineering programs at IoBM.

IoBM is providing boarding and lodging for 43 students who will receive training and education by IoBM faculty at its campus. They will appear in a mock test before appearing for IoBM’s aptitude test for Spring Semester 2017. The selected candidates will be inducted in the BE Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronics and Telecommunication and in the BS Industrial Engineering and Management program on a 100% scholarship paid by the IoBM.

Present on the occasion were IoBM’s Shahjehan S. Karim, President and Talib Karim, Rector. Also attending were Manzoor Hussain Bhutto, Advisor to President and Ms. Seema Ansari, Head of Electrical Engineering Department.

Shahjehan S. Karim briefly informed the students about the Outreach Program and stressed upon the fact that candidates will be given admission strictly upon merit. Mr. Talib Karim emphasized upon the importance of discipline and honesty in academic and professional life and that studying at IoBM will groom the personality of these students and provide them with an academic and professional direction in life.
