Hameeda Waheeduddin calls on Nepalese President Ms. Bidya Devi Bhandari

Kathmandu : The Minister for Women Development Department Punjab Hameeda Waheeduddin has said that Pakistan and Nepal have deep rooted cordial relations, which are strengthening with the passage of time.

She expressed these views in a meeting with the President of Nepal Ms. Bidya Devi Bhandari at the President House, Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Provincial Minister apprised the Nepalese President about the measures taken by the Punjab government for the economic, social uplift and protection of women. She said that Pakistani women are playing a very active role for the progress and prosperity of the country. Hameeda Waheeduddin also stressed the need of close bilateral relations among the regional countries. The President of Nepal Ms. Bhandari appreciated the steps taken by Punjab Government for the betterment of women.

The provincial minister Hameeda Waheeduddin represented the country at South Asian Women Development Forum at Kathmandu, Nepal.
