High Commissioner handed over “Dossier on Human Rights Violations in IOK” to the British Government

British Government. H.E. Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK handed over the
“Dossier on Human Rights Violations in Kashmir” to Mr Owen Jenkins, UK’s Special Representative on Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP), on 13 October 2016, at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).

The Dossier contains details of gross human rights violations in the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir by the Indian occupation forces. The High Commissioner
highlighted the plight of the Kashmiri people and sought UK’s assistance in
putting an end to human rights abuses in IOK.

Mr Owen Jenkins received the Dossier and expressed that the government of the UK upholds the human rights as a priority and will raise the issue of violations with the concerned wherever it takes place including IOK.
