Fool proof security would cover Ashura processions in district Bahawalpur : DPO

Lahore : District Police Officer Bahawalpur Ashfaq Khan has said that district police Bahawalpur was mobilizing all available resources to extend fool proof security cover during the Ashura Muharram in district Bahawalpur. He made these remarks while inspecting security arrangements both for Majalis-e- Aza and Azadari processions, here, today.

Under the security arrangements contingents of police have been implementing the comprehensive security plan by covering the routes of all Azadari processions through barbed wires and effective measures have been put into place for the thorough checking of participants of Azadari Majalis and processions, DPO maintained.

District Police Officer Ishfaq Khan said that police has established strong, vibrant and effective coordination with the peace committees right from district to the police station level to ensure effective security environment in district Bahawalpur.
