LDA auctioned commercial plots on control rate

auction-gavelLahore : A total of seven plots, including six commercial and a hospital site, were auctioned by Lahore Development Authority against a sum of Rs. 990.02 million on Thursday.

Commercial Plot No 6-D, measuring 14 kanals 7 marlas, situated at Finance & Trade Centre, Johar Town was auctioned in a sum of Rs.518.10 million. Its bid starting price had been fixed as Rs. 1.5 million per marla where as it fetched a price of Rs.1.8 million per marla.

A hospital site No 6-F, measuring 14 kanal, also situated at Finance & Trade Centre, Johar Town, was auctioned against a sum of Rs. 407.6 million. Its bid starting price had been fixed as Rs. 1.2 million per marla where as it fetched a price of Rs.1.4 million per marla.

Commercial plot No 23 of Civic Centre, LDA Avenue-One, measuring one kanal and five marla, was auctioned in Rs.48.3 million. Its base price had been fixed as Rs. 1.8 million per marla where as it was sold in Rs. 1.9 million per marla.

Four commercial plots of Jubilee Town were also auctioned at this occasion in a sum of Rs. 16.14 million. Per marla base price of these plots had been estimated by the approved Evaluators of Pakistan Bankers Association.

Open auction of commercial plots and hospital/dispensary sites of various housing schemes was held at LDA Community Centre, 239-A, New Muslim Town. It was participated by 16 bidders who had deposited earnest money in the form of pay orders of requisite amount for this purpose. Sever competition was observed at this occasion as the competitors enthusiastically offered their bids.

Members of the auction committee of LDA including Director Finance ZaheerAsghar Rana, Directors Estate Management kh. Touqeer Hassan, Muhammad Numan Khan, UsmanGhani and FahadAnees, Directors Land Development Muhammad AsadAmeer and MoazzamRasheed as well as other officers supervised the auction proceedings.
