ACE Okara arrest Incharge Mohafiz Khana of DCO office

Lahore : Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Okara has arrested Incharge Mohafiz Khana of DCO Okara office red handed while taking bribe from a local peasant for providing copies of state land record.

According to details, Nazir Ansari a local farmer lodged a complaint to Regional Director ACE Sahiwal that Incharge Mohafiz Khana of DCO Okara office is demanding gratification for provision of copies of state land record.

Regional Director ACE Sahiwal directed DD Investigation ACE Okara to take prompt action. In pursuance of the directions of Regional Director ACE Sahiwal, Circle Officer ACE Okara Ghaffar Khan conducted a raid along with Special Judicial Magistrate Tariq Mehmood and arrested Amir Ali, Incharge Mohafiz Khana DCO Okara office while taking Rs.3000 as bribe from the complainant.

Circle Officer ACE Okara after recovering amount of gratification has sent the accused to jail on judicial remand.
