ACE Punjab arrest a SI and employees of Revenue Department for taking bribe

Lahore : Anti-Corruption Establishment Punjab, in different raids have arrested a Sub Inspector Police and a number of employees of Revenue Department for taking bribe.

Syed Zubair Akhlaq, Circle Officer Anti-Corruption Lahore Region, during a trap raid, arrested Sub Inspector Anti vehicle Lifting Squad Allama Iqbal Town, Anwar Shahid red handed while taking Rs. 10 thousand as gratification for handing over a stolen car. The accused had already taken Rs. 50 thousand for giving custody of applicant’s stolen car.

ACE arrested Girdawar Muhammad Asghar, a proclaimed absconder, in a case of illegal mutation since 2008. ACE has also arrested patwari circle Jallo Muhammad Riaz for taking gratification of Rs. 20 thousand from Haroon Hayat for pointation of his land.

Paatwari Riaz had already taken Rs. 10 thousand from the applicant for the purpose. Patwari Younis has been arrested from Kamoki for taking Rs 4 million as bribe for illegal mutation, ACE has recovered Rs. 2.7 million from the accused during investigation.

Tasawar Shah, patwari of circle Kaisr kalan Lahore is arrested for issuing a bogus Fard of the house of a retired army personal’s daughter through impersonation.

Anti-Corruption Okara has arrested patwari Muhammad Hussain, patwari Agha Muhammad Saleem and identifier Agha Manzoor Ahmad in a case of illegal mutation of 984 Acre of state land worth billions of rupees, situated at village Ram Parshad, in the name of different persons.
