Tariq Teddy avert arrest by getting interim bail

Lahore : Famous comedian Tariq Teddy has lucky enough to avert his arrest by getting interim bail from Lahore High Court in fake cheque case.

The Samundri Police booked him on 21st of January for issuing a fake cheque of Rs 3 millions to a local resident Muhammad Ramzan who alleged that Tariq Teddy received Rs 3 millions for sending his 2 cousins Sakhawat Ali, Ahmad Ali to UK but he could not got their visa.

On 15th of december 2015,the accused gave him a cheque which could not cashed.The local court rejected his bail but LHC granted him interim bail till 9th of September with the direction to face police investigation.

Tariq Teddy claimed that his driver had stolen a cheque which was being used to blackmail him.
