Political culture has entirely changed in the country :Former Senator Ch Muhammad Aslam

Mandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal) :Former Senator Ch Muhammad Aslam  has said  political and elections culture has entirely changed in our country.

He was addressing a press conference the other day here at press club. Advocate Manzoor Tarar, Rahila Khanum Gondal Ibne Adam were present on the occasion. Expounding his view point he said main stream political parties have turned into big industrialists and tycoons companies limited who mainly focus on making wealth through fair and unfair means for investing in foreign lands.

They have no love for the country and its people. They even hold their meetings outside the country to decide the fate of people. Due to their lack of interest in public welfare as well as state affairs, the governance has been polluted with corruption and as such it has completely failed to deliver. He said corruption menace is our district was at the top. Important posts in government departments are filled with sycophants of rulers while competent, honest, qualified and sincere people are ignored.

He said with this perspective no positive change is expected in the future as it is claimed by rulers.

On a question he said it is people who together can overthrow all corrupt rulers and bring new competent, honest and sincere leadership to make the country great and stable. And for that they have to give sacrifices. Replying to another question he said common person in presence of the wealthy and traditional politicians cannot think of contesting election and going to assemblies.
