Lahore : Secretary Sports Punjab Humayun Mazhar Sheikh visited the under-construction International Swimming Pool in Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Wednesday.
He also inspected the pace of construction work at International Swimming Pool. Director Sports Punjab Hafeez Bhatti and Director Admin Anees-ur-Rehman were also present on this occasion.
Talking to media on this occasion, Secretary Sports Punjab Humayun Mazhar Sheikh said the construction work at International Swimming Pool is in the final stages and it will be completed in August this year. “After giving finishing touches, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif will be invited to inaugurate the grand international swimming facility,” he informed.
He said the swimming pool is equipped with all international level facilities. “We will also organize national and world swimming events over here in future,” he explained. Secretary Sports, on this occasion, directed the contractor to complete all the construction work within the stipulated period.
