Lahore : The National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) is deeply grieved over the disappearance of Awais Ali Shah Advocate, son of the Sindh High Court (SHC) Chief Justice.
The NCHR, in a statement here Wednesday, said all agencies, bar associations and the citizens of Karachi should work together in finding the whereabouts of Awais Ali Shah. “His disappearance is aimed at frustrating the judiciary and the law enforcement agencies so that they are deterred from
performing their duties with altruism and devotion,” it added.
The Commission said it, however, was confident that the judiciary and law enforcement agencies would fearlessly performed their duties as representatives of the state and upholder of justice.
The NCHR prayed for the safety of Awais Ali Shah and for divine strength for the family to bear these moments of difficulty.
