FAPUASA concerns over appointment of non-engineers as VCs in the Engineering universities

Lahore: FAPUASA showed strong concerns over Planning of government of KPK for the appointment of non-engineers as Vice Chancellors in the Engineering universities of KPK province.

President FAPUASA Punjab Chapter, Prof. Dr. Suhail Aftab Qureshi and Central Secretary Dr Mahboob Hussain  said that this is clear violation of the policies and Act of Pakistan Engineering Council,therefore such steps must be avoided by the governments of all provinces.

FAPUASA leadership added that only an Engineer can understand the dynamics of the engineering institution for their technical growth to socio-economic impact on the country.

Dr. Suhail and Dr Mahboob said that FAPUASA will protest against any such step in any Engineering university of the Pakistan. He also demanded that Pakistan Engineering Council must have to take necessary measures for the better administrative controls in engineering institutes.
