Lahore: MNA Sabeeha Nazeer has highly appreciated an allocation of Rs. 312 billion for promoting education sectors in Punjab government’s budget for the fiscal year 2016-17.
“A modern initiative spanning over a period of 2 years entitled “Punjab strengthening schools” would ensure a state of the art capacity building of teachers with the joint collaboration of private sector would enable 1.9 million students to get themselves equipped with modern skills and knowledge through this programme”, she noted.
She further said that this progressive policy vision of investing in education would accelerate the pace of modernizing education sector which would strengthen knowledge base intellectual infrastructure in 36 districts of Punjab.
She paid rich tribute to the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Punjab whose commitment to revolutionized the educational system is amply reflected in the budgetary allocation of for the fiscal 2016-17.
