Officials propagating fake performance after disqualified

Lahore: Secretary Pakistan Athletic Federation Mr. Zafar and Coach Mr. Gill through media have highlighted the performance of our players in the subject championship.

According to them Javelin thrower Arshad missed silver medal with a very narrow margin and 100 meter relay team won 6th position which is remarkable and encouraging .

However official records of the championship reveal that Arshad missed silver medal by a margin of 6.20 meters which at international level is a huge margin, where even one CM matters a lot. As per our officials 620 CMs are narrow margin . Incidentally Arshad threw over 78 meter javelin 6 months back and same junior athlete throwing 73.40 is worth worries or celebrations .

Our relay team was disqualified and not graded thus officials telling, it won 6th position is total misleading and pack of lies . Disqualification is stigma , insult and wastage of debt ridden country’s money . Instead of being ashamed of we are celebrating it through concocted and fabricated statements .

In 1954 Asian games 7 year old country’s athletes won 4 golds, 4 silver medals and 3rd place in such a mega event. Today in a minor event with one bronze we are at 17th place . What have present officials achieved in the last 6 years tenures ? Just joy riding ? What else . First time in their tenure PAK athletes came from SAF without gold! Where else they want to take Pakistan Athletics?

Concerned minister does not spare even a single opportunity to be chief guest at different sports events of district to national level.

DG PSB is always seen visiting Nurseries (plants not sports), renovations and holding meetings for posting pictures on Facebook. President POA with kashkol in hand running left and right to beg for Olympic wild cards to oblige his voters . So where more worst can our sports head ?
