Muhammad Umar is selected for a scholarship program SUSI

Lahore: Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAGS) BSc Hons 4th Semester student Muhammad Umer has been selected for a fully funded scholarship program “Study of United States Institute (SUSI)”.

Mr Umer will attend local state and federal public policy making program as an international student leader of tomorrow, which is going to be held at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, USA from June 22, 2016 to August 6, 2016. In addition to this training, he will visit several cities of USA including New York, Washington D.C, Boston and few other cities as well as an official tour by the organizers. Out of over 5000 applicants, Mr. Umer is one of the 5 students selected form the whole Punjab.

Mr. Umer will attend the training as an Ambassador of the Punjab University. Director IAGS Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Haider has congratulated Mr. Umer on this achievement.
