Punjab University swimmer sets new record by getting 13 gold medals

Punjab University swimmer Sami Ullah 1Lahore: Punjab University’s swimmer and student of Institute of Administrative Sciences Samiullah has set a new record in All Pakistan Inter-Universities Swimming Championship 2015-16 organized by Sports Board Punjab by getting thirteen gold medals in 19 events.

Mr Samiullah also obtained 3 silver and 2 bronze medals and was declared the best swimmer in the competition. PU won this championship be scoring 278 points.

In this regard, Mr Samiullah called on PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran at his office here on Wednesday along with Additional Director Sports Chaudhry Khalid Mehmood.

PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran congratulated the swimmer on his landmark achievement and advised him to achieve new heights of excellence.
