Shahbaz Sharif congrats Ishaq Dar for presenting a balanced and people-friendly budget

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on presenting a balanced and farmer and people-friendly budget.

He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, federal government has presented the best budget. He said that a historic package has been given for the development of agriculture sector and prosperity of cultivators. He said that farmers will benefit from substantial decrease in the prices of Urea and DAP fertilizers. He said that agriculture economy will develop and cultivators will become prosperous with the programme of provision of agri loans.

The Chief Minister further said that decrease in power tariff on agri tube-wells will also benefit farming community. He said that practical measures have been announced for the progress of agriculture sectors and prosperity of cultivators while no burden has been put on poor and low-income people in the budget for next financial year.

He said that people and poor-friendly budget of federal government will result in progress and development. Shahbaz Sharif said that the Budget 2016-17 reflects public-aspirations. He said that government is implementing development agenda for raising the living standard of the common man.
