Government to end 33% women quota in assemblies : Anti Corruption Movement

former District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Hussain MakenMandi Bahauddin( Sher Gondal) : Leaders of Anti Corruption Movement in a meeting have demanded Government to end 33% women quota in assemblies and reduce number of ministries and extra department to reduce load on national exchequer.

Addressing the meeting former District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Hussain Maken said as long as overcrowding of generals in armed forces, overcrowding of ministers and advisors, creation of ministries and departments to accommodate rulers favorites as their heads, Induction of 33% quota in assemblies for women are not brought to end our nation will remain under heavy burden of foreign loans.

He said national economy can’t improve till extra expenditure incurred on lavish promotion to high ranking appointments and unelected women parliamentarians is discontinued.

All parallel courts and forums like special courts, terrorists’ courts, and Ombudspersons offices should be closed and only general courts under general law should function to administer justice without any discrimination.
