Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital to have separate power transmission line

Nawaz Sharif Kidney HospitalLahore: Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif directed the authorities concerned to lay a separate power transmission line for the newly constructed and state-of-the-art ‘Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital’ here to ensure uninterrupted power to facilitate patients.

This 110-bed hospital, located at Sangota in Manglawar  on Swat-Kalam Road, is easily accessible to people of all the six districts of Malakand Division.

The Prime Minister also directed the authorities concerned to ensure the provision of another 14 Dialysis Machines for the hospital so that it could cope with the increasing demand of dialysis.

Besides promising free treatment to various poor patients, suffering from kidney problem, on state expense, Nawaz Sharif also announced to bear the surgery expenditure of a poor patient from his own pocket.

Advisor to the Prime Minister, Engr Amir Muqam, ex-Governor KP Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, KP PML-N President Pir Sabir Shah, senior PML-N leader Siranjam Khan, Focal Person  Punjab Hospital Trust Javed Akram and other Government officials of Punjab and  KP also accompanied the Prime Minister.

Nawaz Sharif appreciated the quality services and facilities being offered to patients at the hospital. The patients expressed immense pleasure on seeing the

Prime Minister among them. They highly appreciated the reforms and policies of the Prime Minister for provision of better health service delivery to the people of Pakistan.

They thanked him for establishing the state-of-the-art hospital for people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They termed it another gift of PML-N Government for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The hospital has been completed at a cost of Rs 800 million by Punjab Hospital Trust under the supervision of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and CM Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. It has an OPD, two operation theaters, male and female wards, fourteen dialysis units, CT scan and other necessary facilities.

The hospital is the first of its kind in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its services could be compared with any South Asia’s hospital.

The people of KP especially Malakand division would largely benefit from this hospital and will not go to other cities for treatment. Thus it will save them money and time in getting quality treatment at their doorsteps.
