Punjab and KPK MPAs’ will play an exhibition cricket match today at Gaddafi Stadium

Lahore : A high level meeting on Monday reviewed the arrangements for Punjab and KPK MPAs’ exhibition cricket match scheduled to be played on May 17 (Tuesday) at Gaddafi Stadium.

The meeting was jointly chaired by Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar, MPAs Mian Muhammad Munir and Qazi Adnan Farid at National Hockey Stadium.

MPAs Nawabzada Haider Mehdi, Mohammad Asif, Mehmood Cheema and Ejaz Butt, Chairman Public Facilitation Committee Sports Department Cricket Punjab were also present in the meeting.

All the top officials of security agencies, police, traffic, Pakistan Cricket Board, health departments attended the high profile meeting.

The meeting was told that top level security will be provided to KPK MPAs XI during their stay in Lahore. It was unanimously agreed in the meeting that top standard facilities and foolproof security will be provided to both the teams and other distinguished guests during the exhibition cricket match.

Several renowned personalities from all walks of life including sports, showbiz and politics will be present in the stadium to watch the day/night cricket fixture.
