Dr Asif Karmani criticizes PPP government’s performance in AJK

Rawalakot: Special Advisor to Prime Minister Dr Asif Karmani Monday said that the miserable performance of Majeed government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir had prompted Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to hurl personal attacks on country’s leadership.

Speaking to PML-N Workers Convention here, Asif Kirmani said had the Majeed government served the people during their five years tenure, chairman Pakistan People Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would have avoided trading personal assaults on country’s leadership.

He lamented that had Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited AJK by road he should have sacked the Majeed government. The people of AJK will teach lesson to those, who used to campaign on helicopters.

Politics of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was only to serve the masses. Nawaz is fighting the case of Kashmir in United Nations, he added.

He said PML-N will not respond Bilawal in same tone. Bilawal’s promise for forming corruption free government was tantamount to confessing corruption of his party’s government in last five years.

He said the name of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not included in Panama papers. But the people, who tried to implicate Nawaz in false cases, have entangled themselves in such controversies.

The names of Imran Khan’s ATM machines have already been included in Panama Papers and Nawaz Sharif despite not having his name in Panama Papers presented himself for accountability. Yet Nawaz Sharif will emerge victorious, he said.

The accountability Commission and people of AJK will hold accountability of Imran Khan during the ensuing elections in the valley and also third accountability would be done by the people of Pakistan in the general elections of 2018. “We will not allow Imran Khan to escape accountability,” he said adding that opposition knows very well that impeding Nawaz Sharif will be impossible, if he is allowed to complete his ambitious projects by 2018. Opposing Nawaz Sharif tantamounts to halt progress and prosperity of the country, he added.
He said politics of Nawaz Sharif was to serve people of the country. Elections of Gilgit-Baltistan were most transparent in recent history of the country.Nawaz Sharif was fighting on several fronts. Journey to progress will have to continue till reaching Azad Jammu and Kashmir, he said adding that prosperity of AJK and Pakistan were interlinked.
Referring to visit of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that the AJK government failed to answer Bilawal’s questions about their performance. AJK government did nothing in last five years.
Criticising Imran Khan, he said he had confessed buying flats abroad in 1983, which is contrary to his claims. Why Imran Khan did not declare the existence of flats. Imran also concealed owning offshore companies in 1983.
He said there was no need of any evidence against Imran as he had confessed his crimes.
He said Imran Khan has confessed establishing offshore companies for taxes evasion. Imran had applied Nawaz Sharif for allotment of plot giving affidavit that he does not have any land in his name.
PML-N candidate had defeated PPP and PTI in by election of  Peshawar. He asked workers to work for the victory of Nawaz Sharif for resolution of their long standing issues.
