Patients suffering from liver and kidney diseases will be provided treatment under one roof

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here today. Progress on Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute & Research Center Project and other matters were reviewed in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute & Research Center is a unique and mega project in the history of the country and this institute will prove to be a milestone with regard to provision of quality health facilities.

The Chief Minister directed that this project of public welfare should be executed speedily. He said that development projects of health sector are being completed on priority basis. He said that patients suffering from liver and kidney diseases will be provided modern treatment facilities under one roof. Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute & Research Center will be an excellent increase in public health facilities. Free of cost treatment facilities will be provided to the poor and destitute patients in the institute.

The Chief Minister said that work should be carried out with national spirit for the provision of modern health facilities to the masses.

Advisor on Health Kh. Salman Rafique, Chairman Planning & Development, Secretary Health, Chief Executive Officer of PKLI, Managing Director NESPAK and concerned authorities attended the meeting.
