Member Parliament UK Yasmin Qureshi calls on Afzaal Bhatti

Lahore: Labour Party Member Parliament UK Yasmin Qureshi called on Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) Punjab Afzaal Bhatti, here today.

While informing the British MP about the performance and working of OPC Punjab, Afzaal Bhatti told that on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, OPC is playing a pivotal role for timely redressal of the grievances of overseas Pakistanis.

He further told that for the online registration of complaints of overseas Pakistanis, an IT based system has been evolved. Afzaal Bhatti informed that in order to solve the problems of overseas Pakistanis, Overseas Committees have also been formed at district level.

Yasmin Qureshi lauded the efforts of OPC Punjab for redersal of the grievances of overseas Pakistanis. She also appreciated the development projects carried out under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab in the province.

British MP Yasmin Qureshi also brought to the notice of Commissioner OPC Punjab, the issues related to overseas Pakistanis living in Bolton South East UK. Afzaal Bhatti assured her that problems of overseas Pakistanis of UK would be solved on priority basis.
