Roshan Pakistan Sports Cycle Rally will depart for Islamabad on Friday

Roshan Pakistan Sports Cycle Rally will depart for Islamabad on FridayLahore: The 16-member Roshan Pakistan Sports Cycle Rally will depart from National Hockey Stadium for Islamabad on Friday morning to mark the Pakistan Day celebrations.

The members of Roshan Pakistan Sports Cycle Rally, on Thursday, had a meeting with Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar at his office.

DG SBP Usman Anwar, on this occasion, lauded the passion of cyclists saying that such rallies and events are essential to nurture the love among the masses of the country. He said that Sports Board Punjab will continue its endeavour for the promotion of sports and betterment of sports community.

The rally started its journey on Thursday morning at Kasur where DCO Suleman Ghani saw off the cyclists. The rally, which has been planned to promote peace, harmony and love among the people of Pakistan, will complete their ride through Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhelum and Rawalpindi.

Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) Riaz Hussain Pirzada will receive the Cycle Rally at Islamabad on March 23. The participants will also participate in the Pakistan Day ceremonies.

Following are the members of rally: Allah Ditta, Akber Ali, Qadeer Abbas, Nazar Ali, Shabbir Ahmed, M Sarwar, Habibullah, M Imran, Anjum Zaman, Amjad Ali Kasuri, Naveed Ahmed, Allah Wasaya, M Ashraf, Naveed Ali, Sabir Ali Kasuri (Coach) and Haji Ghulam Nabi (Manager).
