Senior journalist Pervaiz Hameed passes away

Lahore: Senior journalist and life member of Lahore Press Club Pervaiz Hameed passed away. Inna Lilahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune. His funeral prayer was offered at Satluj Block,Allama Iqbal Town. A large number of people from all walks of life attended the last ceremony.He was laid to rest in a local graveyard.

Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of senior journalist Pervaiz Hameed. In a condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
