Lahore: Provincial Minister for Social Welfare & Bait-ul-Mall Syed Haroon Ahmad Sultan Bokhari visited Tehsil Jatoi of district Muzaffargarh and inaugurated land record center under the supervision of Board of Revenue Punjab.
Addressing on the occasion, the Minister said that establishment of land record centers at district level is another revolutionary step of Punjab government which will not only make the system of sale, purchase and transfer of land transparent and safe but also rid the owners of patwari culture. He directed In-charge center Arslan Ahmad to immediately computerize the record of all villages and ensure simple and prompt access of the people to information by making the system online.
Syed Haroon Ahmad Sultan Bokhari directed Assistant Director Land Record Management Ijaz Hussain to allocate four days in a week for resolving the problems of landowners of Jatoi so that computerized system of land record could be activated without any delay.
Assistant Commissioner Jatoi Muhammad Iqbal Khan Buzdar, Tehsildar Iftikhar Ahmed Bhutta, SHO Malik Mujahid Hussain Goraya and Malik Jameel Ahmad Punnu were also present on the occasion.
