Iranian Consul General Muhammad Hussain Bani calls on Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi met Central leader of PML-N, Hamza Shehbaz MNA. Bilateral affairs and mutual cooperation in different sectors were discussed during the meeting held at Model Town.

Speaking on the occasion, Hamza Shahbaz said that present leadership is moving forward speedily and sincerely for resolving problems faced by Pakistan at national level. Especially a number of projects are under completion in energy sector, he added. He said that being brotherly Islamic and neighboring countries, Pakistan and Iran have centuries old relations which are being strengthened in present era.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the historical, educational and geographical status of both the countries has also similarity. He expressed satisfaction and pleasure over joining of Iran again to international mainstream after lifting of ban against Iran and termed it as a good omen. He said that regional matters should be resolved only through mutual understanding.

Iranian Consul General Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi expressed deep interest in the development projects continuing in Pakistan especially Punjab and appreciated the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif. He expressed interest in the promotion of cooperation in different sectors and launching of different new projects especially in Textiles and Agriculture sectors on behalf of Iran.
