5th & 8th classes exempted from upcoming pre-QAT

Lahore: The Punjab Education Foundation will hold pre-quality assurance test (Pre-QAT) of private schools from Feb.9 to 12 across the province.

According to spokesman of the Punjab Education Foundation, private schools vying for educational partnership under preliminary expansion phase 10 of foundation assisted school (FAS) program will take part in it. 5^th and 8^th classes will be exempted from this test due to the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) exams. However, their school record will be checked during the exam.

Foundation Assisted School is the flagship program under which assistance is provided to the poor strata of the society through Public-Private Partnership, concluded the spokesman.
