Government to abandon the privatization of national institutions :Liaqat Baloch

Liaqat BalochLahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has counseled the government to abandon the privatization of national institutions and instead work for their rehabilitation.

Talking to the media at Mansoora after leading the Ghaibana Namaz e Janaza for the three PIA workers martyred at Karachi on Tuesday, he said that the rulers were responsible for the murder of three workers and they would have to account for that.

He said the privatization of important national institutions would do no good to the country. He demanded a balance sheet of the gains and losses of the privatization of national institutions made in the past.

Liaqat Baloch said that the country was facing numerous challenges at present. He said that the instead of curbing crimes, the government was patronizing criminals. He said hat gangs of criminals did not crop up on their own but were run by influential people. He said that crime could come to an end in an area if the concerned SHO so desired and added that gangsters were hauled up only when the government umbrella over them was removed.

The JI Secretary General said that the rulers were hurting the souls of the Founding Fathers of the country, Allama Iqbal and Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, by talking of liberalism and  secularism.

Liaqat Baloch said the JI would launch a countrywide movement against corruption in March and urged the masses, especially the youth, to join the move in order to get rid of corrupt people from all walks of life.
