Depression can push unemployed youth toward crime: Zulfiqar Cheema

Zulfiqar CheemaLahore: Depression can push unemployed youth toward crime . Training in difference skills is the only way to keep youth away from crime. Skilled worker can bring prosperity in land. We have broad improvement in training as per international standard. Students are trained only in those trade that have good demand in market. These views were expressed by executive director NAVTTC Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema during National Skill Competition 2016 award ceremony at Govt. college technology Railway road Lahore. The ceremony was attended by many industrialist, head of the training institute and large number of boys and girls.

Zulifiqar Ahmad Cheema said “NAVTTC is provided training to the youth so that unemployment can be eliminated from the country. National prosperity depends on skilled workers. Under the Prime Minister Youth Skills development program 50,000 students will be given training in good institutes. That will help them to get employment within and out of the country. After getting this training the desiring students will be provided interest free loan.

NAVTTC has divided Punjab in six regain for skill competition. And overall 125 institution are engaged in providing this training. NAVTTC has selected 10 trades of training like welding, plumber, electrician, Auto Cad, Civil servior, Computer Graphics, professional cooking, dress making, Computer application and beautician. Executive director NAVTTC Zulifiqar Ahmad Cheema , MNA Arifa Khalid, Ex-IG Suleman Khaliq and DIG Ch. Shafiq distributed certificates among the position holders at Govt. college technology Railway road Lahore.
