Lahore High Court grants bail to a history sheeter car thief

Lahore: Mr Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan of Lahore High Court has granted bail to a history sheeter car thief Chand Maseeh who was busted around ten weeks before on 10th of November 2015 by the Anti Car Lifting Staff.

The police team recovered 8 stolen cars on his lead and sent him to jail.The accused was arrested number of times but he started the crime soon after getting bail from the court.

Today,his bail application was heard in the court of Mr justice Malik Shahzad Ahmad Khan in a car theft case of PS Qila Gujjar Singh.The state council presented the record of 54 car theft cases in the court in which he was involved , with the submission that the accused Chand Maseeh was a habitual criminal and never left the crime of lifting cars from the city.He was arrested in a car theft case of PS Gulshan Ravi and revealed that he had also stolen a car from Qila Gujjar Singh and later the police team recovered the stolen car from Multan Road on his lead including the other 7 cars stolen from the different areas of the city.

The council of the accused argued that there was a no witness of the crime so his client should be granted the bail.

The court observed that the accused seemed to be a habitual car lifter and he may also steal the car of the council but the accused council stated that her client was indulged in the case so the bail should be granted.
