The pre-quality assurance test of newly selected schools will be held from Feb. 9

PEFLahore: The pre-quality assurance test of newly selected schools under expansion phase 10 of ‘foundation assisted school’ program of the Punjab Education Foundation will be held from Feb. 9 to 12 in the province.

A circular, in this regard, has been issued by the PEF director (academic development unit) Ms. Aisha Nauman here today.

According to the circular, school heads are asked to ensure that overall attendance of the students, to be examined, should not be less than 90 percent; and in case of attendance less than that, absent students will be considered as fail. No members of the school, including principal or the teachers, are allowed to visit the examination centre nor are students allowed to bring textbooks, copies or school bags. The circular has advised the school heads to ensure the availability of students’ data to be shown, late on, as and when required by the exam staff.

According to the PEF policy, it is mandatory to obtain at least 35 percent marks in English for 66.67 percent students and 40 percent marks in rest of the subjects, concluded the circular.
