Lahore: PTI leader Mazhar Iqbal alias Bhalli Butt passed away. Inna Lillahe wa Inna Elehe Rajeune.His funeral prayer would be offered at Data Darbar tomorrow on Saturday at 9-30AM.
He was a popular veteran political worker in the constituency and had a long association with PPP.Bhalli Butt considered to be a close associate of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He had been elected MPA on PPP ticket.
He joined Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf a few years back after consistent ignorance from the PPP leadership.He contested election 2013 on PTI ticket from Shehsh Mahal Road but could not elected.
