Lahore: Chairperson Provincial Commission on the Status of Women Fauzia Waqar has strongly condemned the gang rape of a student.

The Chairperson met the family of the victim and assured transparent inquiry into the case and provision of justice.

Fauzia Waqar said that Punjab government has set up toll-free helpline 080093372 for resolving the grievances of the women subjected to violence and social injustice. She said that psychological rehabilitation of the victims of violence is of vital importance.
