Rana Sana inaugurates 46 km long Samundari road under Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme

Rana Sana addressing Rana Sana is inaugurating Sumandri RoadLahore: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah has said that under Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme, new avenues of development will open with carpeting of rural roads with 50 billion rupees during next three years throughout the province as a result of which not only economic revolution will usher in but modern facilities of health and education will also be available to rural people.

He expressed these views while inaugurating 46 km long road constructed at a cost of Rs. 40 crore neat Chak No. 249 Chota Baloch Wala at Samundari Road under phase I of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme.

The Minister said that under first phase of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme, more than 2000 km rural roads have been carpeted at a cost of Rs. 15 billion while implementation of projects of construction of more than 1800 km long roads at a cost of Rs 15 billion is also continuing in the second phase. He said that destiny of Punjab will be changed within next three years due to projects of construction and widening of rural roads which will also leave a positive impact of progress and prosperity on rural people.

Rana Sanaullah said that like urban areas, a vast project of clean drinking water for rural population is also being started. He assured to bring the demands of setting up of Girls Degree College, construction of some roads and other development projects in the notice of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and appreciated the performance of contractor on completion of rural road transparently in the fixed period.

Mian Farooq MNA paid tributes to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on his revolutionary step of Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme and thanked Rana Sanaullah on participation in the function on behalf of Chief Minister. He said that more than one lakh 25 thousand people of more than 16 villages will benefit from carpeting of the longest road of his constituency.

MPA Naeem Ullah Gul termed Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme as rural-friendly project of the Chief Minister.

Earlier, Rana Sana Ullah accompanied by Members Assembly traveled on newly constructed road and checked its quality. Later, he inaugurated the project by unvelling the plaque.
