Lahore Safari Zoo Park is being up-graded:Khalid Ayaz Khan

Lahore: Director General Wildlife & Parks Khalid Ayaz Khan has said that work on the project of up-gradation of  lake of Lahore Safari Zoo Park is continuing and feasibility is being prepared for construction of sitting place and  bridge for arriving at the dry place between the lake.

He said this while presiding over a meeting held in connection with up-gradation of Lahore Safari Zoo Park in his office, here today.

Deputy Director Zoo Park Syed Zafar ul Hassan and Deputy Director Headquarter Naeem Bhatti besides concerned officers were also present on the occasion.

Khalid Ayaz Khan said that Lahore Safari Zoo Park is being up-graded according to international standard so that maximum and best facilities could be provided to the visitors.

DG Wildlife said that it has been decided to convene a convention of breeding farmers at Lahore Zoo on December 19, 2015 in which representatives of 105 breeding farms from the province will participate. He said that problems and difficulties being faced by breeding farmers will be presented and their solution will be sought.
