Khalil Tahir Sandhu distributes Christmas gifts among deserving people

Lahore: Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs and Human Rights, Khalil Tahir Sandhu has said that sharing of Christmas joys with the poor and destitute persons is the real spirit of this festival.

He was speaking at distribution of Christmas gifts among deserving aged persons at Bishop Ayub Khawar Gill Church in Yuhanabad, here today. Parliamentary Secretary Tariq Masih Gill was also present on the occasion.

The Minister also cut a Christmas cake on this occasion and stressed upon philanthropists to share the joys of Christmas with the less fortunate brethren by extending practical help to poor and destitute persons. He said that summary for distribution of Christmas grant among deserving persons has been sent to the government and after its approval, cheques will be distributed through DCOs in all the districts of Punjab.
