PML-Q worker Adnan Ahmad killed in Bahawalpur

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has expressed heartfelt grief, great sorrow and anger over martyrdom of 17 years old young man Adnan Ahmad due to N-League goondas pelting of stones on PML’s unarmed workers and being hit by guns’ butts in Yazman Mandi of Bahawalpur.

Condemning the incident in the strongest words, he said that the blood of our innocent worker will not go waste and merciless killers and their patrons will have to account for this.

According to details in Ward No. 14 PML workers were going to attend corner meeting of their candidate, when N-Leaguers blocked their way and attacked them, N-Leaguers goondas resorted to severe pelting of stones from roof tops of nearby houses in during which PML candidate for Chairman Altaf Hussain Kakar’s nephew Adnan Ahmad fell down on being hit by stones, N-Leaguers took him in unconscious state inside their camp and tortured him greatly with butts of guns. Later on he was taken to the hospital where he expired in state of unconsciousness.
