AVLS division established for speedy recovery of stolen vehicles: DIG Ch Sultan Ahmad

Lahore: DIG Investigation Sultan Ahmad Ch has said that to control the crime of vehicle , motorbikes lifting  and for early recovery of the stolen vehicles,AVLS Division has been established under the supervision of SP Awais Malik. AVLS division has recovered 17 cars and 4 bikes in just one month,this performance shown that the decision of making AVLS division was correct and in-time.

He expressed these views while talking to media at his office during the ceremony of distribution of keys of the recovered cars to the owners. Senior journalist Munawar Butt and Mubasher Hassan were among the fortunates whose stolen cars were recovered after more than 2 years.

SSP CRO Omar Riaz Cheema ,SSP AVLS Awais Malik and DSP Saleem Mukhtar Butt were also present on the occasion.

The DIG Investigation said soon Army model pickets would be established at Ravi Bridge and other outer points of the city where stolen vehicles would be marked with latest technology.He also appreciated AVLS team performance .
