Lahore: Minister for Information,Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday said the Rs 341 billion Prime Minister’s Kisan package comprised cash grants, subsidy on fertilizer, solar tubewells and easy agri loans.
The package was for the farmers of entire country without any discrimination, he said in a statement.
Pervaiz Rashid said instead of criticizing the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, PTI chief Imran Khan should take practical steps for the betterment of farmers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where his party’s government had failed to provide any relief to the farming community.
The minister said the Nandipur project had become functional and he invited the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief to visit the project along with him and see with his own eyes that it was working. Imran Khan, he said, should at least congratulate the nation,if not the government for that achievement.
