JI launches youth wing, vows to make Pakistan ideal state

Siraj ul HaqLahore: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has launched its youth wing at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, here on Sunday.

A large number of youngsters gathered at the event, where cake cutting ceremony, martial arts demonstrations, sports tournament and other vivid programs were also held.

Addressing the ceremony, JI Pakistan chief Senator Siraj-ul-Haq has said that there are 65 percent youngsters in the populace, from Karachi to Chitral but unfortunately all are worry, hopeless and see their future bleak. He vowed to get those youngsters out of darkness and streamline them.

The JI leader said that the youth wing is being launched to provide youngsters across the country with a platform, from where they can channelize their abilities and efforts for the progress and development of Pakistan. He urged the youngsters to pledge that they would transform the country into an ideal state that was dreamed by Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal and other forefathers of the nation.

Siraj was of the view that Pakistan is not only a piece of land where a bunch of groups are living but is also an ideology and philosophy. He said that Quaid-e-Azam had mentioned 114 times that they see the holy Madia as a model state.

He was of the view that they have the same constitution, being presented by the holy prophet some 14 centuries ago. The JI leader said while quoting Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that Pakistan would be made a model state for the entire globe. He added that the youth would fulfill the dream of the founder of Pakistan.

On the occasion, youngsters vowed to launch a joint struggle to transform the current Pakistan into an ideal Islamic Welfare state, as per the aspirations of the nation as well as leaders of the Pakistan Movement.
