Lahore: Corps Commander Lahore Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif earlier today at CM’s office. Matters of mutual interest, professional affairs of Pak Army and steps taken under National Action Plan for eradication of terrorism were discussed in the meeting.
CM expressed satisfaction over the measures taken against terrorism. The Chief Minister paid tributes to the unprecedented sacrifices of officers and Jawans of Pak Army in the war against terrorism and said that they have written a new history of courage and bravery. He said that the whole nation is proud of the sacrifices of the martyrs.
Shehbaz Sharif that war against terrorism is the war for survival of Pakistan and steps taken under National Action Plan are proving fruitful.
The Chief Minister said that elimination of terrorism is the voice of 18 crore people of the country. He said that war against terrorism will be won with the force of national unity and the mission of making Pakistan a haven of peace will be achieved at any cost.
