PTCL turns a deaf ear to the complaints of internet users

PTCL-LogoMandi Bahauddin(Sher Gondal): Internet service in Mandi Bahauddin is very poor and despite repeated complaints the PTCL local representatives do not address the complaints of internet users.

Frequent problems faced to net users are regarding connectivity, lower speed to the one given in writing under all types of packages, limited and unlimited.

Despite this poor service, the consumers receive bills in full amount on fixed rates and PTCL does not compensate for the period during which the net service remains suspended and faulty.  Venting out their anger customers said PTCL had crossed all limits in looting customers and exploiting them with impunity. 1218 complaints are waste of time as response given by PTCL is apathetic .

Therefore it is requested that concerned authorities take notice of grabbing hard earned cash from the customers without providing them net service as per agreement.

PTCL also be instructed to compensate customers for period during which net service remained suspended and faulty.

  1. I also suffering with the same problems, internet service is very poor quality and complaints for weeks together not addressed by PTCL staff even by repeated complaints. Why so? because there is no competitive institute provider of internet services in private sectors like mobile companies like mushroom in Pakistan. The only reason is monopoly of PTCL. PTCL staff behavior is like a Public sectors. I am very regular in paying the heavy bills without proper services by PTCL. So authorities are requested to look into this problems faced by general public.
